Problem Analysis

The following are the problem areas to be considered in the development of a hospital or clinic healthcare service reservation system:

• Long Queues and Wait Times: Patients often have to endure long queues in hospitals or clinics, especially for routine or non-urgent appointments, resulting in extended wait times before receiving treatment.
• Difficulty Accessing Information: Patients may face difficulties in finding information about hospitals or clinics, doctor schedules, and service availability.
• Time Constraints: Patients often struggle to align doctor appointments with their own work schedules, leading to scheduling conflicts.

Solution

From the analysis of the above-mentioned problems, a hospital or clinic healthcare service reservation application can be designed to improve efficiency, accessibility, and user experience. It is a mobile healthcare service booking application system that allows patients to easily book healthcare services through their mobile devices.

In the wireframing with middle-fidelity, I am to arrange the layout of the application design with what information will be displayed.

Color Palette

The MedicareHealth App adopts blue and green as its primary colors. These two colors are combined to create a balanced impression of calmness, trust, professionalism, health, and care. The blue color palette is associated with feelings of tranquility and trust, conveying that the app is reliable and secure. The green color palette is linked to health, comfort, and healing, sending a message that hospitals and clinics care about patients' well-being.

Typography and UI Elements

In this application, the font used is Open Sans, a sans-serif font, because it looks neutral but friendly and easy to read in the application interface. The UI elements, with rounded corners, create a user-friendly impression. This means these elements are easier to recognize and use by users, especially those who may not be very tech-savvy.
