Problem

This is a thesis project in college. It all started with a problem where a car driver experienced problems such as punctured tires, flat tires, or depleted brake linings that caused a breakdown on the way. So the options are to look for information on the nearest repair shop on the internet or contact a friend for help. But it takes a long time.

Solution

The solution to overcome this is that the driver needs an application that can search for the nearest auto repair shop to the driver's position and of course according to the constraints being experienced. So this project, I was assigned to be a UI designer and mobile programmer who makes UI designs and application logos and builds the Renow application.

In the initial stage, I create rough sketches of the application's interface as a preliminary step. These sketches are primarily for the main pages that illustrate the core processes of the application.

Color Palette

• Renow applies the primary color purple, which conveys a sense of peace and understanding, and the secondary color black, which symbolizes modernity, elegance, and professionalism, thereby enhancing trust. This aligns with the application's mission of assisting car drivers in finding the nearest garage and addressing the issues they encounter.

Typography

• I use Lato, a sans-serif font, because of its neutral yet friendly appearance and readability in the application's interface.

The final step involves executing the results from the low-fidelity version with visual design that aligns with the concept. In the high-fidelity stage, the design is matured by adding color, flat design illustrations, feature icons, and system icons. Here, I am using Adobe XD as my tool.
